At Quasi Robotics, we believe the best technology is shaped not just in the lab – but in the real world. Today, we’re excited to announce Version 3.1 of the Model C2 software platform, a significant update that delivers smarter navigation, improved safety, richer diagnostics, and a more intuitive operator experience.
Building on the solid foundation of Version 3.0, this release reflects months of hands-on feedback from customers deploying Model C2 Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in active, complex facilities. The result is a platform that’s more predictable, easier to manage, and better suited for enterprise-scale operations.
Designed Around Real-World Operations
Version 3.1 is not about flashy features—it’s about meaningful improvements that reduce friction on the warehouse floor and increase confidence in daily operations. From route management to navigation intelligence, nearly every update was guided by how customers actually use Model C2 robots.
A Better Operator Experience
Operators interact with AMRs every day, so small interface improvements can make a big difference:
• The “Go to Next Waypoint” screen now displays a clear description of the upcoming waypoint, improving situational awareness.
• Route lists now preserve their order from Cloud Connect, with a new option to manually reorder routes directly in the cloud.
• After completing a route, the touchscreen stays on the Routes tab, keeping workflows fast and uninterrupted.
• AMRs can now resume the last interrupted or failed route, reducing downtime after unexpected stops.
These refinements help operators stay focused and productive—even in busy environments.
Smarter Navigation and Facility Awareness
Navigation reliability is critical in dynamic spaces, and Version 3.1 delivers several important upgrades:
• Improved path validation logic significantly reduces unnecessary replanning, resulting in smoother, more predictable motion.
• Enhanced route planning and obstacle avoidance improve performance in constantly changing environments.
• AMRs can now navigate out of Keep Out / No-Go zones, improving recovery behavior in edge cases.
• New zone types—Automatic Door, Sound, and Ramp/Slope zones—add deeper facility awareness through Cloud Connect.
• Improved ramp and slope handling ensures safer traversal and smoother approaches.
• During mapping, operators can now see the map graph in real time, helping create higher-quality facility maps. The graph can also be displayed during normal navigation if desired.
Safety and Reliability First
Safety remains a top priority in every release:
• Robots will no longer initiate navigation while charging, preventing unintended movement.
• Expanded diagnostics now include LiDAR health monitoring, available directly on the cart’s UI—making troubleshooting faster and more transparent.
Expanded Hardware Support
For customers running larger or more complex deployments, Version 3.1 adds support for four additional floor-level Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors on Model C2 Large and Model C2 PartPorter configurations. This enhances perception and obstacle detection where it matters most.
Built for Global Teams
To better support international deployments, the Model C2 touchscreen UI now includes language localization. New supported languages include:
• Spanish
• French
• German
• Korean
• Japanese
This makes the platform more accessible to operators and teams around the world.
A Platform That Evolves With Its Customers
“Version 3.1 represents a thoughtful evolution of an already solid platform,” said Max Didenko, COO of Quasi Robotics. “Many of these enhancements were driven directly by customer feedback from real-world deployments. Our goal is to continuously refine the Model C2 experience—making our robots safer, smarter, and easier to operate at scale.”
Available Now
The Version 3.1 software update is available immediately for the entire Model C2 line of Autonomous Mobile Robots and can be deployed via an online update directly from the robot’s user interface.
As always, we look forward to continuing this cycle of feedback, refinement, and innovation – together with our customers.
